Manon is passionate about board culture. As comfortable on the water as she is on the pavement, she encourages her community to practice their passion freely. Bye stereotypes, she is at the forefront of the promotion and visibility of women in action sports. In fact, she’s just published a book on how to take the plunge and learn to skate.
“I wasn’t born into a family of surfers, on the edge of a skatepark in California, but rather in the north of France, far from the mountains and the ocean. And yet today there are boards in every room of the house and the beach is only 2km away. I like to encourage dreams and passion. Remind people that anything is possible if they dare to do what people call “lucky”. To make people feel less guilty, to inspire them and make the seemingly impossible accessible.
