Located at the entrance to the Tour du Parc commune, Ostréapolis is an interpretation center dedicated to oyster farming and, more broadly, to seafood products.
In other words, a tool for discovering and understanding the trades, know-how, production, landscapes and ecosystems of the agglomeration.
The facility is scheduled to open in 2023. Mission complexity :
- Promote and support the region’s flagship economic sector: oyster farming
- Create a forum for dialogue between local authorities, professionals and institutions on industry issues and local challenges.
- A place for resources, experimentation and innovation (nutrition, well-being, health, etc.)
- Complement and strengthen the appeal of 4-season tourism in the Bretagne Sud – Golfe du Morbihan destination.
